All Fools' Day (April Fools' Day or All Fool's Day) or Day of laughter is the international holiday, marked in the whole world on April, 1. On this day it is accepted to perform native, friends and simply acquainted, or to jolly above them.

From where exactly by birth this holiday - from France, England, Mexico or Sweden is a secret, that, unfortunately, is covered by darkness. One of influential versions about the origin of holiday of laughter is bound to that initially on April, 1 celebrated in many countries as a day of vernal equinox and time of Easter. Festivals on occasion of spring New Year were always accompanied by jokes, pranks and merry tricks. Tradition of holiday lives now: nature became reason, because the spring whims of weather people tried to cajole jokes and drawing. Other, also widespread, version of origin of Day of laughter is related to passing to the Gregorian calendar entered by Dad Roman by Grigory in 1582. The point is that New Year was in Middle ages marked on January, not 1, and at the end of March, till in 1563-1564 king Carl Ninth (King Charles IX) reformed a calendar in France. Therefore the New-year week began on March, 25 and 1 closed on April.As the saying goes in people: "Laughter - continues life"!
