Day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

  Recently celebrated their holiday fighters airborne troops. Traditionally Airborne day celebrated on the first Sunday of August. Osnovopolozhnym event is considered the first landing by parachute commando units to carry out tactical tasks at Voronezh August 2, 1930. Later amphibious troops were engaged in a variety of armed conflicts. 

  In independent Ukraine Day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially established in 2007 by decree of the incumbent. 

  According to the plan the development and reform of the Air Force as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces must be air and air defense components, such as aviation, air defense and special forces, as well as educational institutions and of the logistical and medical support. In July of this year created highly mobile assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

  Holiday, usually celebrated in cities where airmobile troops are stationed, as well as in other major cities. Can host demonstrations themselves paratroopers, concerts, charity events, fairs, where it is possible to buy various souvenirs. 

  This year the weather did not disappoint, and the feast was held in sunny hot August Sunday, so it was not without a traditional bathing in the fountains.
