Congratulations for men

February 23 the whole country celebrates the Day of Defender of the Fatherland! Used to be considered that the February 23, 1918 the Red Guards won their first victory at Pskov and Narva on the regular troops of the Kaiser's Germany. Namely, these early victories and became the "birthday of the Red Army", 1946 festival was called Day of the Soviet Army and Navy, in 1922, this date was officially declared the Day of the Red Army. Later than February 23 is celebrated annually in the USSR as a national holiday - the Day of the Soviet Army and Navy, and after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the date was renamed the Day of Defender of the Fatherland. For some people a holiday on February 23 was the day the men who serve in the army or in any law enforcement agencies. Nevertheless, the majority of citizens of Russia and former USSR countries tend to treat the Fatherland Defender's Day is not so much as a great victory anniversary or birthday of the Red Army, how much, as the Day of real men.
