Ukraine celebrates Constitution Day!

On June 28, at 9:20, people's deputies voted for the Constitution of Ukraine. 315 deputies voted for adoption. For the first time in the parliamentary hall, the hymn was approved by the Constitution. People's deputies solemnly brought the blue-yellow flag to the hall. The adoption of the Constitution was an important step in ensuring human rights and citizen, and contributed to further enhancing the international authority of Ukraine on the world stage. The 1996 Constitution, with some changes and additions, is in force in the country at present.
