Day of rescuer

     Back in 2008, President of Ukraine, Viktor Andreyevich  was established to celebrate the Day of Ukrainian professional lifeguards annually on 17 September. Most likely, this day was chosen for a reason. It is connected with the fact that on this day the Orthodox Church celebrates the celebration "Burning Bush" - Mother of God, which is the protector and patron of firefighters and rescue workers, as well as all those who are caught up in trouble. Therefore it is often paired with such an icon put statues of rescuers - people who fearlessly rush to aid victims. This is not just healthy and physically strong people, they are able to maintain composure in a variety of critical situations and respond quickly, and are often dependent of the lives of many people. 

     With the growth and development of technology, more and more hazards around us, and threaten to cause accidents and disasters. It is therefore important to draw people's attention to the observance of safety rules, as well as teach the basics of first aid. Indeed, despite the readiness around the clock rescue, they may not always be on time. When the bill is literally a second life in the hands of the victim witnesses. 

     In recent years it has become the tradition of holding a special event on this day, which is called the "Hero of the rescue of the year." In this kind of competition representatives MOE special prizes awarded for brave, to show their agility, skill and courage in any rescue operations. Sure, it's a great incentive to teach people not to be indifferent and to help everyone who is in trouble.
